UPDATED UPDATE: Of course, I have a whole new plan today. :)

I really would love to be in DC the Saturday before the march, stay overnight, and return on Sunday evening. A couple of friends were thinking the same thing, but were planning on driving down. So with the money we’ll save by not paying for the train, now we can afford an overnight in DC!

And in case it isn’t totally obvious, that Saturday is October 10th, which happens to be exactly one year from our wedding date!

I *really* want to attend the big National Equality March in Washington, DC next month, but I’m not sure its going to work out. We can’t afford a hotel, not that we could even find a room at this point. I think our only chance is to find a group in NYC that is going for the day and providing some kind of reasonably priced transportation. Any leads are much appreciated, please don’t let my awesome signs go to waste!
